Gamma Pi's Project ENRICH Holds Open House for Students and Parents

Gamma Pi’s Project ENRICH program is just a few weeks away from beginning the 2016-17 academic year. On Saturday, September 17, the program held its first Open House to introduce interested students and parents to the program.  About 50 parents and students turned out for the event at Gaywood Elementary School in Seabrook. The star of the session was a young Project ENRICH alumnus now enrolled in one of the prestigious U.S. military academies. Jordan Veal, who was remembered as a shy, quiet kid whose voice was barely audible when he came into the program as a ninth-grader several years ago, emerged as a confident and student who is now in his second year the U.S. Military Academy in West Point, N.Y. In the above video, he is interviewed after the program by Gama Pi’s McCory King, who works with Project ENRICH and hosted the information session on Saturday in behalf of director Bro. Willie Hines.
